Tools We Use

Here are some of the cooking tools we really like to use:

• VillaWare belgian waffle iron: Hands down the best waffle iron ever.
• Le Creuset cast iron cookware: We got a set of these as hand-me-downs, and they're fantastic. The shapes and sizes are just right, the food bakes perfectly, and they seem much easier to clean after baking than any other baking dishes I've ever used.
• Krups electric can opener: This opener doesn't leave sharp edges, which is nice with kids around. It's also fast and durable.
• \"Commercial Aluminum\" (Calphalon) cookware: My wife has had a set of "Commercial Aluminum" cookware, made by Calphalon, since before we met. Calphalon dropped that name in 1997. These are all-around fantastic pans.
• T-Fal Avanti 4 slice toaster: Even toasting and consistent control. Good bagel setting too.
• Oxo slanted measuring cup: Great for reading measurements from the top while pouring.
• Zwilling J.A. Henckels knives: Great quality.
• Kitchen Aid stand mixer: Great for baking.
